In this episode, we look at the wider world of HPC, beyond the on-premises facilities of our excellent PRACE host centres. The core HPC research community has a wide range of supporting, ancillary, and adjacent organisations in both the private and public sector. I am joined by Wil Mayers and Cristin Merritt of Alces Flight Ltd., to discuss what the emerging domain of “Cloud HPC” is, and how it can be used to support and augment existing solutions.
